Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada and is an actress who has starred in a variety of television shows. She is also a star in the world of film. Emily began attending classes in acting and auditions after realizing that she loved acting. She was only seen in only one scene and without dialog. She got her first big breakthrough at 15 when she was cast as a regular in The WB show Glory Days. Emily's acting talent caught Greg Berlanti's attention when the series was cancelled after only nine episodes. He subsequently cast Emily for Everwood, his new TV show. Emily was also an artist and ballerina, was named by Teen magazine as one the best actresses younger than 20. The Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 placed Emily at number 51.
