Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in France's Puy-de-Domme on August 9, 1976. She is the oldest of four children. Her parents encouraged her parents, dentist and a teacher who were both instructors to follow her love for theatre. This contrasted the earlier dream to pursue a career as a primatologist since she was a fan of monkeys. Her rise to fame as a young actress was swift and marked by her early successes. After her graduation in 1998, she was a participant in the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before launching the journey to become an actor. While she attended an institution called the Institut Catholique de Paris and had a religious affiliation in her early years, Tautou is now averse to the Catholic tradition, saying that she is not officially Catholic. The model pursued her career along with her acting career. She is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel is often called the Chanel Muse. As well as her acting work, she has an interest in photography. The actress recently showed some of her photographs in the Arles Film Festival under the title Superficial. Her photographs tends to focus on the spotlight and celebrity. The camera is turned at journalists who have been scrutinising the actress following her sudden popularity. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom as well as international recognition with her first role in a major film, as the main character in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie has been a worldwide box office smash and has been recognized in numerous ceremony awards around the world. The film is still the top-grossing French language film to be released in the US. Following the release of this film, Tautou starred in numerous films, that ranged from British dramatics, to Jean Pierre Jeunet's long day of the fiancailles. Later, she made her way to Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code.
