April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born July 4 April, 1995. In the seventh grade she began taking piano and guitar lessons. This ignited her passion for songwriting. In April, when she was 12 years old when she wrote her first single called Different. The singer spent much of her the time of 14 composing songs and experimenting with music. The following months, she started taking notes with her father in LA in addition to NY. April began including other topics in her book Take My Hand to help those of her peers who struggled in the face of peer pressure, disability or even suicidal thoughts. Lockhart, a popular lifestyle influencer as well as working in partnerships with clean beauty brands Ilia and YSL, has cultivated a large audience. Born without a left hand, the woman is a major part of herself. But it's not the entire tale. The profile of Lockhart on Twitter does not ignore her being disabled however, it doesn't make a point of it. The message is? The message is that we all share many identities, we're more complex than we think we are. Lockhart tells Lockhart in a video interview "I am not convinced that my physical appearance should define me. My goal is not to have an impact on disability because I have plenty to offer." My daily life isn't directly affected by disability. I live my normal daily life, and come up with my own solutions to issues. Since it's a my identity It's a topic worthy of talking about. Lockhart is a huge source of inspiration for her female friends with regards to acceptance of oneself. However, she acknowledges going through phases of her body and sometimes being unsure about wearing specific types of clothes that showed how much of her body. She wears what she likes and proudly posts pictures of herself dressed in outfits she chooses on social platforms. Self-love, she says, is like a journey. "I believe that you will ever be there," she said. It's a long journey. I'm sure that you never reach your destination. It is important to have people that know and appreciate your situation.
