A baby was strapped to my back as another crawled around in the playground. I spent 12 hours days, for months, sanding and stripping wallpaper with one child. Ha! We were getting closer to being done, yet the project was still a distance away. The home would require a great deal of effort as well as a passion to shop. My three sons and me were looking for the hidden treasures attending estate sales in order to reduce my expenses. Our routine was of walking around garage sales and auctions on the weekend and purchase a range of old pieces and new created. When our home was finished, I didn't want to quit! On the streets, I rented a small area and then sold a few objects. I was able to outgrow the area because I had many more pieces than I needed. I hosted open houses at my house where 1 000 visitors would pass through on a single weekend. they could purchase anything on the first floor. My business Growing Days began here. My business was booming however my family was also growing. Being a new mom I was able to find the perfect equilibrium to start my own business and also being a decent mother. Growing Days just seemed to work. In 2013, my sweet daughter Nora was born. She is our fourth baby. My business was going well but I was in need of a break. I made the decision to take a break and stay in my home with my family. The time was right. However, after just a couple of minutes the phone started ringing. Numerous people reached me to ask for advice on home improvement and decorating. The majority of them were people who had been through my house during open house for furniture! After that, I gradually took on clients at my own speed. Soon I had multiple clients and I was running an enterprise of renovations to homes. When I first heard about my business in home renovation I was astonished. It's fun to reflect to it.
